
Note that some actions, like digging, are not repeatedly performed when holding down the action button. This can make it more convenient to keep farming twigs. This will cause the game to think you are holding down the action button and your character will continuously perform the current action.
Click on either the crafting or the backpack button immediately after clicking the action button. This can be helpful when you are just starting to build supplies. The added benefit is that you can just jump over these obstacles once you are making your exit. If you have read about placing walls in front of entrances to block off sneak attacks then you should also know that placing storage boxes, tables, or chairs will also work to barricade yourself against enemies. You can pretty much build foundations and walls almost anywhere you want. Regularly backup your save file to the cloud and retrieve a backup save file to restore your loot. Once your game crashes, make sure to check all your current equipment and items and also make sure to check your stored items (as it may happen that only stored items are deleted).
